Your Leisure Centre needs YOU!

27/09/2018 by Beverley Addy Leave a Comment

Volunteers are urgently needed to help on reception.

Can you give a few hours of your time once a week? Or more?

Volunteers are particularly needed for reception on Wednesday evenings between 6pm and 8.30pm and on Mondays from 5pm to 6.30pm.

There are lots of benefits to volunteering and it is always a good feeling to know you’re helping keep Penistone Leisure Centre up and running.

Volunteers are the backbone of the centre run by the community, for the community.

You’ll also rack up other benefits such as free skating for you or your child/friend, a weekly gym pass, an hour’s room hire for two people (to play badminton or table tennis for example) or £5 off a session or class you run or attend – with every two hours of volunteering.

There’s also free training in first aid or as a gym instructor, for example.

And volunteering always looks great on your CV.

Please get in touch now with Nikki on 07305 090006 if you can help at the times above – or at any other time, new volunteers are always needed and very welcome.
