So, as everyone will be aware, the whole of South Yorkshire has been classified as ‘high risk’ under Government’s most recent guidelines.
The good news is- Classes, Skating and the Gym can continue and we can stay open, so long as the restrictions are carefully adhered to.
Classes can continue so long as there is no mixing of households, and social distancing is maintained at all times. Please book your space on your class in advance with the instructor, and arrive to your session wearing a mask and sanitise your hands. You may take off your mask once you begin to exercise. Please follow the instructors directions throughout the session and stick to your allocated space to workout.
Public Skating sessions and lessons can continue, but you are now only permitted to book places for your immediate household/social bubble. The rule of 6 applies, so bookings of 6 or less people at a time, unless your family is larger than 6 people. Please be aware that you won’t be allowed to mix outside of your own households, so please don’t arrange to meet friends at the same session. We know this isn’t ideal, and it’s not how we would choose to be operating, but we must stick to the rules in order to keep everyone safe.
The Gym remains largely the same. Please book your space in the Gym in advance via our website. Please sanitise your hands on arrival and wear a mask when you are in any of the shared areas of the building. Please use the sanitising wipes provided in the Gym to wipe down any equipment you have used, before and after you have used it. We are still operating with limited numbers in the gym, and with advance booking only.
Bookings for private hire such as like Badminton/Table Tennis/Skating etc can only be accepted when they are for members of your own household/social bubble.
Like many small businesses, community organisations and well, everyone really, we are working very hard to make all the changes needed and to be able to continue to provide access to sport/exercise to our community in these strange times. Please be kind when dealing with our volunteers, coaches and staff.
