We are pleased to say that we have joined the ‘Breast Feeding Welcome Here’ scheme for Barnsley.
What this means, is that we have a policy in place for breastfeeding and that we will train volunteers to be supportive of families who choose to breastfeed. If you would like a quiet or private place to feed your baby whilst at Penistone Leisure Centre, please speak to one of our volunteers who will be happy to help wherever possible.
Following our recent renovations, we would like to start and welcome more children’s groups to the centre, and hope that signing up to this scheme will help parents to feel confident to come here and know they are welcome.
We are pleased to have a Little Leopards Baby Massage joining us here at the centre as soon as restrictions allow and hope to add more sessions for families to our timetable soon.
