Total Warrior is an event that describes itself as ‘the pinnacle of obstacle racing’ – a 10km run with 30 military-style obstacles including balance beams, climbing nets, wading through mud and jumping over fire! Jamie is training for this event, and in a new session at Penistone Leisure he will be training you for this too – or for any other challenge you have set for yourself.
Warrior Fitness uses ‘real’ things in the training, such as tyres, barrels and bags and has a different feel to a session using weights. You use all of your body at once and it increases fitness, strength and endurance in a tough workout. However, you don’t have to be super fit already – Warrior Fitness is also for beginners or teens who want to get tough but aren’t yet!
Warrior fitness is on Fridays 6:15-7:15pm starting this week (but due to an existing booking will be 7-8pm on 15th April – next week).
