We are in need of help with various roles, from serving drinks in the cafe to hosting various clubs that we would like to have in the Centre. See roles and descriptions below for more information.
Evening Reception Volunteer Time: Weekday evenings 6:00-8:30 pm Requirements: Must be 18 years of age; Responsible, Confident, Reliable and Friendly Description: Provide supervision for the Centre, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all Centre users. Duties: Greet customers. Take payment. Respond to customer queries. Set up and tidy away activities and equipment. Provide first aid if necessary. Act as Fire Warden The following training will be provided: First Aid. Fire Warden. DBS check. Safeguarding training |
Creative Collective Hosts Time: Fridays 1:00-3:00 pm Requirements: Friendly Reliable Crafter/Maker/Artist (any discipline/medium) No expectation to instruct, however, you are welcome to share your skills. Description: Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for this wellbeing drop-in session for working-age adults. Duties: Greet customers. Serve tea and coffee and cold drinks. Take payment. Social Hub Volunteers Time: Thursdays 1:00-3:00 pm Requirements: Must be 18 years of age; Responsible, Confident, Reliable and Friendly Description: Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for this wellbeing drop-in session for working-age adults. Duties: Greet customers. Serve tea and coffee and cold drinks. Take payment. Serve pre-packaged food. Café Volunteer Time: Mondays 12:30-2:00 pm Requirements: Must be 18 years of age; Responsible and Reliable (no food service experience required) . Description: Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for this wellbeing drop-in session for working-age adults. Duties: Welcome participants, Ensuring they feel included. Support participants to find an activity. Signpost participants to appropriate services if they require assistance. Work with Social prescribers to deliver wellbeing activities.
