Many hands make light work !
Volunteers of PLC are integral to helping with everything from reception staffing and skating sessions right to keeping our little garden area tidy, and so much more.
All the gym instructors that induct new users, do so as Volunteers – Why ? They are PLC Gym users themselves and see the need for such a place within the Penistone area and essentially want to help and give something back to the Centre and the wider community. The Gym here offers 78 open hours each week to it’s members and can do so because of volunteers like these.

Our volunteers even tidy the outside spaces too and usually without even being asked – Often Chris and Dick can be found fettling the verge to keep it looking lovely. Thanks you both.
