Our New Windows Are In…

01/10/2020 by Frances Greenwood Leave a Comment

…And don’t they look great?!

Our brilliant builders have been busy and the large picture windows have now been installed between the cafe/studio space. These new windows will mean that during skating sessions, spectators will be able to enjoy a drink/snack in the cafe whilst the skaters have a nice time in the hall. They also bring lots of natural light into the hall.

Here’s the view from inside the cafe into the hall…

The wall panelling around the hall is now finished too! This panelling will protect the walls from rogue roller skates and will eventually be clad in tough plastic.

These windows were paid for in part by last year’s sponsored skaters, so huge thank you to all of them, with the remainder being made up by two large anonymous donations! We are very lucky to have such generous supporters.
