This week we saw the return of our PenActive group… it’s our ‘Youth Club for Older People’! Aimed at people aged 60+ the session is a fun and friendly session with time for socialising as well as some exercise too! This weeks activity was table tennis and badminton!
PenActive usually starts with a cuppa and catch up in the cafe, then leads on to the activity! If you don’t fancy this week’s activity, there is open access to the Gym for our 60+ gym session. The sessions are led by the attendees, so we look to you to tell us what activities you would like to do the following week. Before lockdown, we had sessions including the following activities- Table Tennis, Badminton, Walking Netball, Roller Skating, Uni-Hoc, Boxercise, Chair Aerobics, Dancing, Karate and more!
