Penistone Leisure Centre was given a very special gift recently. We were incredibly honoured to be left £5,000 from the estate of Miss Mary Margaret Lees.
This special gift comes at such a vital point in Penistone Leisure Centre’s development plans. We have secured some major funding amounts, but still have more money to find to ensure we can complete everything we have planned to the standard that the community deserves!
Work begins on the 26th November to install acoustic partitioning into the hall (so that more than one activity can take place in the hall at once) and then the builders move on to transform the back room into the new Gym.
