Since last week, lots more classes have been added to our Children’s Easter Holiday Timetable. Kids can now do Boogie Bounce – a fun fitness session on mini trampolines. There will be multisports sessions where they can do a mix of fencing, archery, dodgeball, football, goal ball and athletics games. Mums, dads and children can come together for some self defence training – you never know when it might be useful. And there are still places at Art Explosion, Jungle Yoga, Beginner Skating Lessons and Skating Skills. You can find out more about all these sessions on our Easter Holiday page.

Children’s activities at half term
We have a packed timetable at half term, with possibly more to come – and more detail on it’s way too.
Art explosion:
Tuesday: 10am-2pm – Halloween theme this time, but we don’t know what the project will be yet. The aboriginal canvases were fantastic last time – what could you add to your art collection?
Halloween Skating Party:
Saturday 31st October: Come in fancy dress, play Halloween games, skate around to the best Halloween songs and have some scarily tasty party food. Time to be confirmed
Skating lesson:
Wednesday: 12:15pm-1:45pm – Do you want to come skating but are a bit worried about falling over? Have you given it a go but feel like Bambi? Would you like to learn how to skate safely? This will be a beginner lesson for adults and children.
Skating times:
Saturdays: 12-2pm (family)
Monday: 10am-12 (all)
Tuesday: 2-4pm (fast)
Wednesday: 10am-12 (family) and 2-4pm (all)
Friday: 2-4pm (all) and 8-10pm (teens – 11yrs and over)
Note: we need volunteers to run these sessions, so please let Rachel know by email or by texting 07947991727 if you can help out. We aim for 3 volunteers in each session.
Kickstart:
Thursday: 10am-3pm
Friday: times to be confirmed.
Last week of Summer Sports Camp
There is still time to book children in for a day at the Summer Sports Camp at Penistone Leisure Centre.
This will run again next week, on Monday 24th, Tuesday 25th and Friday 28th August, the last week of the holiday. There will be rugby, martial arts, badminton, games, football, table tennis, multisports, roller skating, circuits and much more. The sessions are being coached by Simon and Jamie, who have lots of experience of working with children. The Sports Camps have not been busy so far, but the children have had a great time and are keen to come back for more.
To do something fun before heading back to the classroom, find out more about our Summer Camps.
