Easter half term is always one to look forward to – 2 weeks of chillout time or packing it full of fun things to do with hopefully some nice weather alongside it.
Penistone Leisure Centre always strive to offer as much as possible to help you keep it fun for the kids.
We have extra Public Skating sessions and private hire sessions avaliable for Skating ~ Badminton ~ Table Tennis ~ Dance ~ Skating lessons ~ Family Games

What a beautiful sunny day we had yesterday for our Easter Treasure Hunt! A grand total of 185 children took part in our hunt and the feedback has been fantastic. The just under 2 mile walk had some challenging pictures to find along the route, and it looks like you all had such a fun time finding them all!

We’ve recently been awarded an NHS contract to provide facilities for Cardiac Rehabilitation, which is great news for the Leisure Centre! Working around the new timetable of daytime availability, the times we offer Public Roller Skating sessions during the school holidays will be changing-
Sessions will now be 10:30am-12:30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (and weekends as usual!)
During the Easter School holidays, the sessions are £3 per child which includes skate hire. No need to book! Just turn up-
Want to learn or brush up on your skating skills? Rachel is running the following skating lessons during the school holidays! These lessons are great as a taster to see if you’d like to book a block of skating lessons, and are £8 per child including skate hire if needed. Bring along a snack, or buy one from the tuck shop for breaktime.
Monday 6th April 3:30-5:30pm Beginners Lesson
Wednesday 8th April 3:30-5:30pm Intermediate/Advanced Lesson
Our popular Nerf Scrimmage events are back for Easter Half Term Holidays!
Join us on Saturdays the 11th and 18th of April from 9:30-11:30am for Nerf Scrimmage! A fast paced and fun team game involving Nerf Guns and box forts!
Nerf Scrimmage is suitable for children aged 7-11 years old! Tickets are £8 per child and include safety equipment and ammo. Bring your own Nerf gun, or hire one of ours for £2 cash on the day! The game is marshaled to ensure everyone has a fun time.

Please note- If this event had to be cancelled due to government advice surrounding Corona Virus, we will be issuing refunds, so please don’t let this hold you back from buying tickets as, if we don’t sell enough advance tickets, we’ll be forced to cancel the event!
