What a beautiful sunny day we had yesterday for our Easter Treasure Hunt! A grand total of 185 children took part in our hunt and the feedback has been fantastic. The just under 2 mile walk had some challenging pictures to find along the route, and it looks like you all had such a fun time finding them all!

Did you know we have a class perfect for keeping fit whilst caring for you children?
Join Becca on Tuesdays at 10-11am at Penistone Leisure Centre for a workout whilst your child(ren) have fun playing! The class is different every week, with a variety of exercises to keep your fitness up. There are toys available for the kids to play with, or they can join in with the exercises. The workout is around 45mins, then there is a 15 minute craft activity for the children and some social time for the parents/carers!

Our popular Nerf Scrimmage* events are planned for October half term and as far ahead as Christmas!
* (renamed from Skirmish to avoid confusion with another local business!)
Nerf Scrimmage is a fast paced and fun game of capture the flag- with Nerf guns! The whole hall is set out with large boxes as ‘hides’ and several different ‘quests’ are undertaken. We provide safety equipment and the Nerf guns fire foam ‘darts’ so they don’t hurt when you get hit (unlike paintball!). We have two marshals and a session leader who are there to make sure everyone has a fun time!
There are dates available for younger and older children, please make sure you select the correct age category when you book!

These events do sell out, so be sure to get your tickets quickly! We are happy to make Gift Vouchers for the Christmas sessions as presents if you’re looking for a cool present for kids in your life! Join us on Tuesday 13th August from 10-11:30am for a creative ceramics workshop with Sarah Jones Morris Ceramics! You will make a ceramic wall hanging or name plaque (suitable for a bedroom door!) using various techniques.
Spots cost £15 including all materials and Sarah will glaze/fire your piece for you and return it to the centre where it will be ready to collect a couple of weeks after the workshop.

Kelly is branching out her popular Clubbercise classes, to include kids! The sessions are £4 per child and lots of fun! Classes are high energy and include disco lights, dance routines, glow sticks and the sort of music kids love.
Kelly is now running sessions on Thursdays from 4-4:45pm for kids aged 5-8 and 4:45-5:30 for kids aged 9-12. The classes allow kids to burn off some energy and include games and team building too.
