Hello!
My name is Stuart Hughes and I have recently moved to this beautiful area of the country with my growing family to begin a new chapter in our lives. I am a big sports fan with a keen interest in tennis and football. You can find me in the gym or on a tennis court during my spare time or chasing after my little boy.
For the best part of a decade, I have managed various leisure offerings ranging from holiday park experiences to school residential trips. I have local and regional experience managing multifaceted leisure departments ranging from swimming pools, gyms and even off ground high ropes courses. I am passionate about health, safety and wellness whilst at the same time determined to squeeze in as much fun and enjoyment as possible.
I am thrilled and excited to be the new Centre Manager here at Penistone Leisure Centre and I will strive to continue to support the great work currently being done here at the Centre as well as aiming to develop things going forward. I look forward to many years supporting you and your Centre whilst getting to know as many of you as possible.
