Come and spend an evening with Sarah Jones-Morris Ceramics learning how to make ceramic garden cane toppers which will then be fired and glazed so that you can display them in your gardens.
Using a variety of hand building techniques Sarah will work with you through the steps to make a set of cane toppers. These can easily be adapted to create a variety of different forms, Sarah will demonstrate making birds and flower seed heads, however, if you have a particular theme that you wish to work to then please bring your ideas along.
Using different materials and mark makers the finished pieces will be patterned. Sarah will then talk through different glaze options with you.
Your finished cane toppers will be taken away, fired and glazed and returned to you ready to display in the sunshine of your summer gardens!
