Join Sarah on Friday 20th March at 6:30pm for a fun and relaxed session to make your own Garden Cane Topper!
Using a variety of hand-building techniques Sarah will work with you through the steps to make a set of three cane toppers. These can easily be adapted to create a variety of different forms! Sarah will demonstrate how to make birds and poppy seed heads, however, if you have a particular theme that you wish to work to then please bring your ideas along!
Using different materials and mark makers the finished pieces will be patterned. Sarah will then talk through different glaze options with you.
Your finished cane toppers will be taken away, fired and glazed and returned to you ready to display in the sunshine of your gardens!
Early booking is recommended for Sarah’s workshops often sell out! Tickets are £35 which includes all materials, and the glazing/firing of your pieces. If you’d like to bring a bottle of wine, or refreshments along on the night, feel free!
