About public sessions
Public skating is now back on! Come with friends and family, and put some fun back into the weekend!
We have skates in every size from junior 8 to adult 14, so everyone can join in. We also have pads and helmets to keep you safe, and beginner mats for getting going.
Our plan is to open our new cafe during public skating soon. For now, volunteers will be serving tea, coffee, crisps and chocolate as before.
For now, we have a limit of 30 people in a session (including spectators), and booking in advance is essential. You can book a group of up to six people or two households, who can sit together in the cafe. Please don’t mix with other groups.
We have lots of covid secure measures in place to keep you safe, with additional cleaning, quarantining and disinfecting equipment, a one-way system and building in social distancing. Adults and older children must wear a mask at all times except when skating, eating and drinking or if exempt.
We’d like to be back to skating ‘normally’ after June 21st, in time for lots of sessions in the summer holidays.
