Volunteers are needed to staff our bumper summer skating schedule.
The sessions are great fun and if you volunteer, your children skate for free that day.
There are other benefits to volunteering though. Every two-hour session bags you one of the following: a free skating session for you or your child; a free weekly gym pass; an hour’s hire of one of the rooms for up to two people – for example, for badminton or table tennis; or £5 off a session or class you run or attend.
You also get:
A party card – where 12 volunteering sessions means one free party.
Free training – Training sessions are run in first aid, becoming a gym instructor, child protection, skills for a class or for an activity you would like to run. It all adds great skills for your CV.
No experience is needed and we need your help for handing out skates, taking money and helping with the tuck shop.
Skating sessions are running throughout the summer holidays – Tues, Wed, Thurs 2pm to 4pm, Sat 12noon-2pm, and Sun 10am-12noon.
Are there any Thai Chi classes suitable for old people. My physio says I would be if it from them. In fact I’m on a waiting list to go to Hoyland for classes. But live in Millhouse green.
