Penistone Friends of the Earth are now hiring the party room on the second Monday of each month for their meetings and would like to invite anyone who is interested to join them. This month they will be discussing their Hogwatch project as it comes out of hibernation for 2017, plans for their bee friendly meadows and threats to nature laws. They will also be talking about the proposed motorway service station on the ancient woodland at Smithy Wood, junction 35, and how they can support the protest. They also welcome any new ideas for environmental projects in and around Penistone.
Their first meeting at Penistone Leisure Centre is tonight (Monday 13th March)at 7:30pm
