New Tai Chi class

January 30, 2017 2 Comments

Do you want to improve your balance, flexibility and posture? Tai chi classes are starting every Thursday 7-8pm from 9th February in the small room.

These classes are aimed at adults and the first two are free – just turn up. After this we ask that you book by contacting Natalie on 07535002987, as places are limited to 10. Regular classes will be £5 each.

Tai chi classes will be run by Zheng Wu. He has been practicing tai chi for 18 years. He learned tai chi from his master Huang Hao in the traditional Chinese manner and is a member of the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain. He teaches 2 styles; yang style (suitable for beginners) and chen style (a more advanced style). He also teaches meditative breathing exercises called qi gong. Tai chi is known as an ‘internal martial art’. It is a holistic exercise to benefit the mind, body and spirit.

“My classes are suitable for complete beginners as well as those who have learned tai chi before. Everyone is welcome, I look forward to meeting you.”

      Hi Tracy,
You need to contact Natalie or Zheng Wu on 07535 002987 as the coaches all do their own bookings, they are not done through the centre.
      Thanks,
      Rachel
