New Tai Chi Class Starts This Friday 3rd November!

01/11/2017 by Frances Greenwood Leave a Comment

Do you want to improve your balance, flexibility and posture? Fortnightly Tai Chi Classes are starting on Friday 3rd November, 11am-12pm in the small room.

These classes are aimed at adults and the first one is free – just turn up! After this we ask that you book by contacting Natalie on 07535002987, as places are limited to 10. Regular classes will be £5 each.

Tai chi classes will be run by Zheng Wu. He has been practicing tai chi for 18 years. He learned tai chi from his master Huang Hao in the traditional Chinese manner and is a member of the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain. He teaches 2 styles; yang style (suitable for beginners) and chen style (a more advanced style). He also teaches meditative breathing exercises called qi gong. Tai chi is known as an ‘internal martial art’. It is a holistic exercise to benefit the mind, body and spirit.

Tai Chi also continues fortnightly 7-8pm Thursdays – the next one is 9th November.
