Last chance to have your say!

23/10/2018 by Beverley Addy Leave a Comment

The deadline is nearly here for you to make a difference to the £300,000 plans for your Leisure Centre.

We need to know what you want and need at the Leisure Centre as part of the refurbishment such as activities for younger or older residents, different gym facilities, new classes or different kinds of activities, or clubs, we haven’t tried!

While we always love to hear your feed back, we need your completed surveys by the end of October to use your thoughts when we are making the plans.

Make your voice heard by returning the questionnaire that has been sent out to  7,500 homes and is also available on our website to reply digitally.

Your answers will help the centre trustees put together bids to make using the centre a better experience. Among our plans are better toilets and changing facilities, a bigger kitchen and café, with viewing facilities for sports hall sessions and lots more improvements. With your information, future activities at the centre can be organised around what local people want and need.

Even if you haven’t received as survey in the post we would still like to hear from you – there is a limit to how far we can distribute the survey physically but the online version is on our website here and there are printed copies you can fill out at reception.

Get your surveys in before the end of the month to really make your voice count towards what happens here at the centre.

Fill out your survey and either post it back to us, deliver it by hand to the centre on Thurlstone Road, or simply fill one out at reception there –  or submit a survey online here and it will come back to us digitally.
