Karate moving on

13/03/2017 by Rachel Gibbons 6 Comments

We are very lucky to have had karate at Penistone Leisure Centre, run by Jon Chapman, from the very early days of us reopening. His karate classes have now become so popular that he is moving to new premises where he can offer his students more evenings each week to train and improve. His new place will be in Penistone One , Unit G, opposite the British Legion. He will be moving in on the 1st April, so his last class at Penistone Leisure Centre will be Tuesday 28th March.

Jon says he will be taking on new students, but not until May, to give time to settle the ones he currently has into the new routine. If you are interested in going on the waiting list, please contact Jon on j.chapman@talktalk.net or 07949 187355.

Jon says it has been a difficult decision to move karate from Penistone Leisure Centre, but he is staying on as a Trustee so it isn’t goodbye. We wish him all the best!

      Hi Nicola,
Karate sessions were so sucessful, that Jon Chapaman has moved into his own space (Penistone Karate Centre) in Penistone 1 (the new development on the high st, next to Cafe Generation/West Yorkshire Dog Rescue near Tesco round about etc)
If you’d like to contact him about what sessions are available, his number is 07949187355, or he has a group on facebook, search ‘Penistone Karate Centre’.
      Best wishes,
      Frances
