It’s an up hill battle, but we know you are up to it!

It’s time to take on a challenge for your Leisure Centre.

Penistone Footpath Runners have organised their annual fundraising challenge the Penistone Hill Race in support of the Leisure Centre here.

A gruelling multi-terrain race faces challengers who want to support Sporting Penistone – the charity the keeps Penistone Leisure Centre running.

With approximately 6½ miles (10½km) and 1,000 feet (300m) of ascent, it is a tough race on tarmac, trails and paths, with hills and stunning views of the Penistone area, run under UK Athletics rules (cross country permit tbc).

The 2018 race will be held on Sunday 30th September.
