Have a go – not too late to enter and support the centre

September 27, 2018 Leave a Comment

It’s not too late to take on the Penistone Hill Race challenge for your Leisure Centre.

Penistone Footpath Runners have organised their annual fundraising challenge in support of the Leisure Centre here.

A multi-terrain race faces challengers who want to support Sporting Penistone – the charity that keeps Penistone Leisure Centre up and running – and you can help!!

With approximately 6½ miles (10½km) and 1,000 feet (300m) of ascent, it is a tough race on tarmac, trails and paths, with hills and stunning views of the Penistone area, run under UK Athletics rules (cross country permit tbc).

The 2018 race will be held on Sunday 30th September.
