Don’t forget to get your leisure centre refurbishment survey answers to us as soon as possible.
To make your voice count in deciding what the centre offers as part of its £300,000 refurbishment you will need to have your completed surveys with us by the end of the month – and the sooner the better.
If you use the gym, go to classes, have youngsters, enjoy skating – any activity that we do or could offer here at the centre – or if you don’t use the centre but would if we offered something different – then we really want to hear from you.
Your information will help us to plan what activities are offered at the centre when refurbishments are complete and back up trustees bids for financial support to make the centre a better place to visit.
Among our plans are better toilets and changing facilities, a bigger kitchen and café, with viewing facilities for sports hall sessions and lots more improvements.
You can take a look at current plans in the reception area at the centre. Some structural and practical things must be done, like work on the roof. But with your information the future activities at the centre can be organised around what local people want and need – such as groups for older residents and parent and toddler activities, or more sessions for teenagers.
Even if you haven’t received as survey in the post we would still like to hear from you – there is a limit to how far we can distribute the survey physically but the online version is on our website.
Get your surveys in before the end of the month to really make your voice count towards what happens here at the centre.
Fill out your survey and either post it back to us, deliver it by hand to the centre on Thurlstone Road, or submit a survey online here and it will come back to us digitally.
