Thanks everyone – we’ve had a brilliant response from our surveys – 363 returned on paper and 51 online at the last count. We now want to look at our results and use all of your ideas and suggestions to make the centre the amazing place we all want. Some trends are emerging about what we need to improve, and some activity suggestions are definitely looking more popular than others. It’s great that people have really thought about the questions and have spent time putting in detailed answers.
But we have a problem – we need to enter the data from all the paper surveys into a spreadsheet so we can analyse it – and it’s taking a very long time! We need to get plans finalised and funders want to see our evidence of what improvements people want.
So our idea is to crowdsource the data entry out to as many people as possible.
Do you have a spare hour or two you could spend on your computer at home, entering survey data?Could you pick up 10, 20 or even 30 paper surveys next time you’re in? It took me about an hour for 10 surveys, but you might be quicker! We will need around 20 people to get this done. You can download the file to enter data into right here:
It has a sample entry on the top line, and is basically putting ‘y’ in columns that have been ticked on the survey and copying comments into other columns. Then when complete, please email it to firstname.lastname@example.org and return the paper surveys.
Any questions, please email me as above or call / text 0794 7991727.
Thanks so much!
