You may have noticed plants and flowers sprouting outside the Leisure Centre over the last few months. A few of our brilliant volunteers have been using their green fingers to keep the centre looking nice. Huge thank you to Christine, Dick and Derek in particular who have been keeping on top of making the outside space look tip-top!
It’s getting to the end of the summer now, and it’s time for a tidy-up and preparation for next spring.
We are holding a volunteer session on Sunday 26th September 11am – 2pm (or any time you can spare in between those hours)
Please come along to help smarten up the outside of the Leisure Centre.
There are a range of tasks to suit most interests and abilities, and we provide tools, and plenty of tea/biscuits!
Pruning, weeding, strimming, hedge trimming, bulb planting and general tidying up. Please bring along your gardening gloves, if you have them!
