Christmas Party – how did it go?

January 12, 2016 by Rachel Gibbons 4 Comments

Father xmas 2Our Skating Christmas Party on 23rd December sold out completely and there was a great party atmosphere, with the disco lights and everyone in their Christmas best. The children lined up to receive their present and have a chat with Father Christmas to tell him what they wanted on the big day. We played games, ate lots of party food and had a great time. Around £200 was raised towards Leisure Centre funds.

A huge thanks goes to Jackie, Merry, Louise, Davy, Matthew, Euan and especially Natalie, for bringing food, organising the event, helping Santa get and wrap presents, setting up, tidying away and making the whole party go so smoothly. And thanks to Jamie, although we won’t say what for…

The raffle was also drawn at the party, you can see the raffle page for the winners.

Our next skating party will be for Valentine’s Day – look out for details coming up soon.

Hi Karen, We are planning a Christmas party again this year but haven’t yet set a date, time or price. We are thinking about Wednesday 21st but are open to suggestions. It was £6 last year, so certainly won’t be more than £7 this year.

If you want a sooner party, we have planned a Halloween party for Thursday 27th October 3:30-5:30pm which you can buy tickets for at £5 each (adult or child). It includes prizes for best fancy dress, spooky games and scary party food!
