Well done to everyone in our fantastic team – we have been nominated in the Proud of Barnsley awards!
Sporting Penistone, the group behind Penistone Leisure Centre, has been nominated in the community group category of the awards that celebrate great work across the borough.
We’ve been nominated alongside Barnsley Gymnastics Club and Barnsley’s Men In Sheds for the award and the winner will be announced on November 16, in a ceremony at The Metrodome.
Organisations, schools, businesses and individuals have been nominated in a host of categories for the awards run by the Barnsley Chronicle.
