We have recently started training with Barnsley Wellbeing walks… There are exciting plans for Penistone Leisure Centre to have a number of walks available to attend… whether it’s starting at the centre or around the area.
We took part in the first stages of Barnsley Wellbeing Walk Leader training… The weather was quite extreme with rain, rain and more rain but once we got going we enjoyed a walk together around Watermeadows Park and back to the Leisure centre for a well-deserved cuppa.
We will keep you posted on our progress with our Wellbeing Walks and hopefully you will see us on the Barnsley Wellbeing Walk timetable in the near future!
If you’d like to find out about more the Barnsley Wellness Walks – their Facebook page is called ‘Barnsley Wellbeing Walks’ – there are walks in areas such us Worsborough & Elsecar. Have a look to find out more! Click here to have a look the Barnsley Wellbeing Walks Facebook page
