Can You Help With The Final Push?

12/08/2020 by Frances Greenwood Leave a Comment

We are so close to complete now! The builders have been exceptionally busy this week getting the fantastic new flooring down in the corridors and side rooms, and also getting our new toilet cubicles installed.

We’re on the last push now to get the painting finished in the public areas ready for reopening for classes on Monday evening!

Can you spare a few hours on Thursday evening from 6pm> or this weekend- Saturday 10am-1pm or 2-4pm and Sunday 10am-2pm.

We need cleaners and movers and painters to don their gloves and pick up their brushes to get us over the finish line! So we really do need all hands on deck!

We are getting towards the end of the major works funded by EPIP (East Peak Innovation Partnership) and BMBC Section 106 Fund. We have also had kind donations towards the flooring from the  ‘Mark Dransfield and Deborah Holmes Charitable Trust’ and the ‘Liz and Terry Bramall Philanthropy Catalyst Fund’ (administered by SYCF), and the Penistone Ward Alliance. We have had additional funding for the toilets from CBTU (Community Business Trade-up) and Ecclesiastical. So we must take a moment to say ‘Thank You’ to them all, as without their funds, none of this project would have been possible.
