Thank you to Penistone Round Table for their recent donation of £200 which will be going towards solving the damp problems which we have been having at the front of the centre.
The Round Table do so much for our local area, being the driving force behind the Gala, the Bonfire, the Santa Sleigh and more! The money they collect from their fundraising efforts goes back into the local community, to projects like ours!
This donation has come at a good time, as we’ve had very limited income recently and have had a number of large expenses recently (a new large gas heater for the hall, having to have the chimney at the front of the centre taken down etc)
As custodians of an old building, we are always discovering new issues (usually when we think we’ve just finished dealing with the last thing!) so we are very grateful for the donation!
